Curriculum
The academy runs a number of short courses in the field of marine qualifications. These include courses under the control of the Marine and Coastguard Authority such as Ship Security Officer; Ship Safety Officer; Tanker Familiarisation, as well as courses preparing candidates for their Masters, Mate and Officer of the Watch orals, with these awards also being made by the Marine and Coastguard Agency.
