Curriculum

The Academy offers short courses of two weeks in length for international students, who wish to experience studying at a British university.

The courses are divided into the Oxbridge Candidates Course (OCC), which includes modules on admissions to Oxford and Cambridge, and the Aspiring Candidates Course (ACC), which is designed for students planning to apply to study at other top universities in the UK or elsewhere.

Both courses include modules on Public Speaking, British Parliamentary Debating and taster sessions from a selection of subjects. These subjects include History of Art, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Film Studies, Geology, Mathematics, Media Studies, Philosophy, Psychology and Sociology. Taster sessions are arranged in accordance with the choices indicated on students’ application forms.
