Curriculum
The Institute offers four internal awards, a certificate in Islamic banking at level 3, a certificate in Takaful (Insurance) at level 3, a diploma in Islamic banking at level 5, and a postgraduate diploma in Islamic banking and insurance at level 7, all delivered on a distance learning basis through the Institute’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). Students are expected to complete the certificate course in 6 months, the diploma course in 9 months, and the postgraduate diploma course in 12 months from the date of enrolment. Students on the certificate course are expected to undertake 10 hours of study per week, those on the diploma course 15 hours per week, and those on the postgraduate diploma course 20 hours per week.
