Study UK – the association for BAC-accredited colleges
Study UK was established on 24th July 2007 to provide a voice for private and independent colleges within the UK Higher Education sector; there are now nearly 40 BAC-accredited colleges in the association and, with numbers increasing rapidly, Study UK is already an influential force in the private education sector.
Study UK will work alongside English UK, its natural ‘sister’ membership body for the English language teaching industry, to help develop a single, memorable brand for all UK-based independent education. Both organisations will share a brand and logo design already associated with ‘quality UK education’ and English UK’s Chairman, Tony Millns, will be taking an active role in the Study UK Association.
The first major concern Study UK addressed on behalf of its members was the maintenance requirement for international students applying to study in the UK and the association will no doubt be involved in more crucial sectoral lobbying over the coming months.
If you would like to join the association and add your voice to those already being represented by Study UK at the highest levels of government and major bodies in our sector, please download the form from the Study UK website, at www.study-uk.org/ApplyMem. If you have any queries regarding Study UK please contact the Association Manager at info@study-uk.org or visit the website www.study-uk.org.
