BAC-accredited Colleges Association
On 24th July 2007, an announcement was made about the formation of a new body, the BAC-Accredited Colleges Association (BACA), established to serve as a voice for private and independent colleges within British Society.
A representative body has long been needed in the independent FE and HE sectors, and the BACA, representing over 250 colleges (the number currently accredited by BAC), will work closely with BAC and the relevant government bodies to ensure that the legitimate interests of the private sector are considered and safeguarded.
More details about the BACA will be disseminated to BAC's accredited colleges in the coming weeks, including information on membership and notice of elections.
