International Accreditation

After two decades of inspecting and accrediting private education in the UK, in the year 2000 BAC established a system of international accreditation for colleges based outside the UK but working in formal collaborative partnership with a UK awarding body in the field of higher education.  Often this means that the colleges are offering all or part of a British degree programme or a Higher National Diploma.  Accreditation is restricted to the elements of the colleges' programme offered at the level of higher education.  BAC will also consider applications from colleges which are offering international qualifications where the institutions are within common ownership with a BAC-accredited college in the UK.
