Handbooks
Our Accreditation Handbook provides comprehensive information on all our accreditation criteria, rules and procedures, and comes in three flavours. All independent FE and HE colleges in the UK should look in the first instance to the standard Accreditation Handbook UK 2009-10, which includes information on Non-Collegiate Accreditation for suitable candidates. Two additional documents are available upon request from the office: the Higher Education Handbook, for those colleges with degree-awarding partnerships who wish to be assessed against the higher level of criteria detailed within; and the International Accreditation Handbook, for institutions operating outside the United Kingdom who qualify for BAC accreditation.

Addenda to the Accreditation Handbook
N.B. Any changes during the course of an academic year to BAC's requirements or procedures will be posted here, listed by implementation date. Accredited institutions will also be notified of new postings by email.
