Dr Vickers joined the BAC as Chief Executive in March 2006. Previously Chief Executive of the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH), Stephen is a qualified teacher and a Chartered Secretary, who has worked in educational assessment and compliance for much of his career.

Prof Bristow has been with the BAC since the year 2000 as both Senior Inspector and Member of Council. His past educational experience includes positions as Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Glamorgan and Chief Executive of Shrewsbury College of Arts and Technology, while his business knowledge has developed through Directorships of a number of private and charitable companies in the UK and Malaysia. An active Fellow of several chartered professional bodies, he serves as Chief External Examiner for the Institute of Directors, and has been UK and International President of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.

Prof Vinten was appointed Chief Inspector of the BAC in 2007 after an extensive and varied career in education. A former lead assessor for QAA and reporting assessor for HEFCE, he holds postgraduate qualifications from the Universities of Leeds, Oxford, City, Glamorgan and the Open University Business School. His doctorate was on business ethics, corporate governance and internal audit. He is a Past Chairman and existing council member of the Royal Society of Health, as well as a Past President of the Institute of Internal Auditors. He serves on the council of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy, and is the first chair of the new London region of the Royal Society of Arts. His experience in educational management ranges from universities to the private sector, including time as Director of the MSc in Internal Audit and Management at City University's Business School, Whitbread Professor of Business Policy at the University of Luton, Head of the European Business School in London, and Deputy Principal of EThames Graduate School (a BAC-accredited private college).

Accreditation Manager
Dr Gina Hobson
Dr Hobson joined the BAC in 2005. As Accreditation Manager, she is responsible for the day-to-day management of the inspection schedule and accreditation process, in addition to assisting with inspector training and overseeing the treatment of complaints.

Clare joined the BAC in 2003, and has been at the hub of our daily operations since, processing applications, organising inspections, and acting as the first point of contact for our inspection force.

Donnett joined the BAC in 2007 and helps Gina and Clare to maintain the efficiency and accuracy of the Accreditation Department.

Alex Proudfoot
Alex joined the BAC in 2006. As Communications Manager, he is responsible for implementing our Communications and Marketing strategies, in addition to maintaining efficiency in day-to-day office systems.

Fiona Anderson
Fiona joined the BAC in 2007 and takes the lead in a multitude of administrative operations within the Department, including college communications, servicing of our committees and office management.-

Tom Richards
Tom joined the BAC in 2006. As Information Officer, Tom is responsible for our IT systems and takes the lead in data analysis and procedural documentation.

Caroline joined the BAC in 2007 and helps with a wide variety of Communications tasks including college communiations, marketing and writing for the BAC Newsletter.

Erin joined the BAC in 2007 and helps Alex and Fiona with communications operations and day-to-day office management, while acting as the first point of contact for enquiries from colleges, students and members of the public.-

David joined the BAC in 2006. As Finance Officer, he is responsible for the company accounts, maintaining the smooth running of the Finance Office and presenting financial reports to management and our Executive. -
